
DCA High School Program
The Dream Center Academy high-school program is intentionally designed to keep our students on target to graduate college-career ready. Our high-school program plan provides students with a four-week summer program and ongoing support throughout their school year.
Our summer program operates 4 weeks and includes 4 community tours, a 4-week service project, academic study skill sessions, a summer book club, 1 field trip and 1 college tour per grade level. Our students also engage in summer job shadowing and internship experiences as follows:
Rising 10th – Job shadow at various locations
Rising 11th – Intern at the Academy, for a scheduled week
- Rising 12th – Individual Internships at selected businesse
Our school-year programming provides quarterly support visits to our students’ high schools, after-school programming 4 days per week which includes academic tutoring, enrichment clubs, and college-career planning. Throughout the school year, students participate in field trips, service projects, and character development sessions.

Summer Classes and After School Tutoring
Academic Classes strengthen students’ academic skills and prepare them for advanced classes.

Enrichment Clubs
Enrichment Clubs broaden students’ experiences and support their personal development.

College Tours
College Tours provide our students with a first-hand view of college life and inform their decision for their future.

Community Tours
Community Tours expose students to aspects of our community that broaden our students’ experiences, support their personal development, and include educational, business, physical, and service enrichment activities.

Job Shadowing and Internships
Shadowing and internships allow students to gain valuable work experience and explore career opportunities.

Career Development Planning
Career Development assists students with investigating, planning, and pursuing a career of their choice.
