Summer and After-School Opportunities for 9th-12th Grade Students

Paving the Way for College and Career Success

The Dream Center Academy high-school program is intentionally designed to keep our students on target to graduate college-career ready. Our high-school program plan provides students with a four-week summer program and ongoing support throughout their school year.

Summer Program

Our summer program provides hands-on experiences, including a four-day job shadowing opportunity to explore career interests, engaging community service projects, and a Financial Literacy Session. Students also take part in a Summer Reading Project, reading to young children, while developing skills, pursuing passions, and creating meaningful connections in their community.

School Year Program

Our school year program offers in-person attendance up to four days a week, with quarterly school check-ins. Students follow a personalized College and Career Readiness curriculum, explore colleges across North Carolina, engage in monthly service projects, and earn an end-of-year reward for meeting academic, behavior, and attendance goals.

Job Shadowing and Internships

Shadowing and internships allow students to gain valuable work experience and explore career opportunities.

Career Development Planning

Career Development assists students with investigating, planning, and pursuing a career of their choice.
